The Holtville Little League is getting ready for their 2012-2013 season. They held their first board meeting on October 4th to go over some of the plans for this season and to select the officers and board members. This year’s board consists of Sara Hilfiker taking over as President as former Holtville Little League President Pepe Larios has moved to the Little League District board, Jimmy Toten will serve as Vice-President, Jim Predmore will be Treasurer, Karin Chambers is the Secretary, Lance Burfield will serve as Safety Officer, Mitch Kellum is this year’s Player Agent, CJ Johnston will be the Equipment Manager, Wayne Cartee will be the Chief Umpire, Mindy Toth will be Concession Manager, and Sam Hilfiker will be the Field Manager.
There were also tryouts held for Fall Ball on the same night where Holtville put together a Major team with players from the 10 to 12 year range. The fall ball season will run from October 11th thru November 13th.
